Hi! I’m Dr. Jen Newell – As a Naturopathic Doctor and Skin Health Expert, I help women overcome acne and other skin disorders, hormonal imbalances and digestive concerns to achieve a clear, radiant complexion, restored hormonal balance, and renewed digestive function. But what I’m most passionate about is supporting women to reclaim their inner glow and to live their healthiest and happiest life.

I am the founder of Connected Health & Skin. I am committed to helping others resolve frustrating skin issues because I struggled with hormonal cystic acne and mild rosacea for over 10 years. Dissatisfied with the results from oral contraceptives, antibiotics and other conventional treatments, I decided to take matters in my own hands and find a safer and more sustainable solution to achieve healthy, glowing skin.

“Health is the foundation for beauty.”

I believe in empowering my patients to take an active role in their health and commit to working collaboratively to help them reach their goals.  Rather than simply treating “the disease”, I work with you to identify the underlying causes of your concerns and symptoms.  I am passionate about helping people look and feel their best by combining my knowledge and expertise to develop customized and comprehensive plans for overall optimal health.

I am a graduate of the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine and the University of Ottawa. I am a member of the College of Naturopaths of Ontario, the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors, the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors and the International Association for Applied Corneotherapy. I have additional certification in Aesthetic Medicine, Advanced Skin Analysis, Collagen Induction Therapy/Microneedling, Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture, Intravenous Infusion Therapy, and Culinary Nutrition.
